Mona Winau

Member

Mona Winau is visiting researcher at the universities of Edinburgh and Stirling (July-September 2022). She works as a project researcher at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in Germany. Mona is also a doctoral candidate at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. She graduated with a degree in law from the Goethe-University in 2021. Her research interests include administrative law, data protection law and AI regulation. The primary focus of her research is on the legal conditions necessary for effective privacy law enforcement, especially in respect to different hard- and soft law regulatory concepts and cooperation procedures. During her research stay she will conduct a comparative analysis between GDPR regulations and post-Brexit legal developments in UK.
