Gabriele Cifrodelli

Gabriele Cifrodelli is a PhD Candidate & Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, CREATe Centre. His research interests mostly lie in the intersection between Intellectual Property, Technology and Innovation, currently with a focus on AI and its recognition as inventor within the patent system, both from a legal and ethical perspective. Gabriele holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Digital Economy at the University of Glasgow, and his dissertation “Patent System and Artificial Intelligence: Towards a New Concept of Inventorship?” has been awarded as one of the Outstanding LLM Dissertations in 2021. Gabriele is also a Law Graduate from the University of Trento and obtained a Certificate in European, Comparative and International Law at University of Passau during his six-month Erasmus+ experience.
