Felix Boon is a Scots-qualified solicitor. He has an LLM in Human Rights law. His research interests focus on the law and connected and automated vehicles. He is particularly interested in pursuing legal research that has real-world application. He has presented on CAV law at several events, including CAV Scotland and the PEOPIL Annual Conference in Frankfurt. He is co-authoring the UK's chapter of an international law textbook on CAV liability with Dr Matthew Channon. His first article on the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act 2018’s insurer liability model was recently published in the British Insurance Law Association Journal. Finally, he is a member of the BSI PAS 1882 Steering Group (concerning data collection during CAV trials).
