Dr. Catherine W Ng

Catherine W Ng joined the School of Law at the University of Aberdeen as a lecturer after a period of private practice in Toronto, completing her LLM in intellectual property law at Osgoode Hall Law School (Canada), her DPhil at the University of Oxford (UK) and then her post-doctorate work at the Graduate Institute (then, 'Institute universitaire de hautes etudes internationales' or 'HEI', Switzerland). She began her term as at the Graduate Institute as an Oxford-HEI Europaeum scholar there.
As a senior lecturer, Catherine is principally interested in teaching and researching in the laws relating to intellectual property, personality and publicity rights, the media, marketing, advertising, merchandising, the arts, history and cultural heritage. Her research has been funded by the Carnegie Trust.
