I am a full-time lecturer and researcher at the Facultad de Derecho Mazatlan of the Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa (UAS) (Mexico).
I obtained my PhD in Law in 2017 at the University of Edinburgh. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Law in 2007 and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in 2006, both from UAS. Additionally, I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Centro de Estudios de Los Cabos in Baja California Sur (Mexico). I have developed my career in both academia and as an advisor in IT law particularly, artificial intelligence and law. I have both lecturing and research experience since 2010, and I collaborated as an editor on Intellectual Property for SCRIPTed (https://script-ed.org/) in IT and IP Law.
Currently, I am in charge of the Sinaloa Chapter of the Academia Mexicana de Derecho Informático (AMDI) and I am also a Member of the National Research System (SNI) of Mexico level 1.
