Aline Iramina

Aline is a PhD candidate in Law at University of Glasgow and CREATe. She holds a LLM in Intellectual Property law from the University College London (UCL). She is a Brazilian lawyer and civil servant (currently on study leave), with experience in copyright regulation. Her PhD research thesis focuses on the impact of algorithms on copyright governance, particularly the importance of transparency mechanisms to regulate this system. Aline’s research interests include intellectual property law, platform regulation, privacy and data protection law and AI regulation.
